Yes he would have received $3 million fighting Green(if Greens offer was genuine. Green knocked back a offer early December to fight Dawson who was represented by Gary Shaw and when Green said he was after bigger fish like Hopkins Shaw said no way you're getting Hopkins.) But Hopkins still made $2 million for fighting Roy so he only lost $1 million.
