Mate, all I'm saying is that undefeated records don't mean ****, especially in the heavyweights. Its been a commen occurence throughout the ages to pad a record. A close look at Haumonos record begs the question of 'Who?'.

Correct its your opinion and I have mine. I don't agree with yours but more power to you.

I know Leati is associated with Alex (his brother) and I'm a good mate of another local heavyweight, one of Alex's previous opponents. But that means diddly, we're all allowed our own views.

You said after looking at Haumonos record he'll do this and that. After looking at his record I still say 'who?'. Alex has shown a willingness to fight everyone at the top tier of the rankings. I'm still waiting for Sol to do that.

although yes haumonos record is padded, saying he will ko leapai, cronje etc. is hardly going out on a limb.

but it is no certainty either.

the main thing is that there are some good match-ups between the aussie heavyweights.

if bowie tupou is a little homesick then he should come back as there are plenty of guys to test himself against now too. would have no idea how to match him and mark de mori with these guys here now. i don't think there is much between most of them really. they are all on the verge of going places.

    Hi

Peter is currently based in Perth at Swick Mining services the work that he is doing is as drill fitter on rc rigs rc longhole (tamrock solos ) an under diament drill rigs .

Peter works 12 hours a day and after work train +/- 12 hours a week including travling to gim and home every day +/- 50km .

I personally think if he can get a good sponsor to train longer hours he can be one of the best boxer in Australia .

    Cheers Matt .:deal

    Hi Mate and welcome,

Peter Cronje is a very good fighter and with a bit of luck he can win the Aussie title for sure.

I agree, i thought he just beat Alex on points the other night. Both are great domestic fighters and a rematch wld be another close fight.

I wld like to see either Peter or Alex call out Solo or Hoppa

hey mattviljeon, it's true SPONSOR is the key word here but just to let you know pieter is not the only one that works, trains and then tries to fit family time in, your looking at every other boxers in aussie and world wide except haumono, hoppa, demori, briggs ,heavyweights in general who are fulltime boxers.....
Leapai which i've explained 100times works 40-50hrs a week & has no choice he's got 5 beautiful kids to feed, does a 1-2hr drive to gatton and so on and so on....
Cronje & Leapai was given enough time for this fight to be in prep.
