To be honest none of the promoters in Scotland impress at the moment. Right now the only shows worth going to are ricky burns show but the last two have been major rip offs, £35-40 for 2 meaningful fights at the Martinez show and the same again for 1 meaningful fight at the Eversen show. Apart from that there is the dinner shows that Gilmour runs that are majorly over priced and usually feature mismatches anyway. So although Morrison may manage some decent boxers right now he has done nothing to shout about promotion wise in scotland recently.

i'd pay £35-40 for a world tilte fight and a good commonwealth title fight anyday! compare it to the American prices and i think you will find your getting great value for money.

I would have paid hundreds for my ticket to the martinez fight. The best night I've ever had in my 7 years in boxing and I'll remember it fondly until I die.

Thats due to the result, if martinez ko'd him in 3 rounds you would be different.

I just think there should be at least 4 competitive fights on a world championship bill and at least a couple brit title fights as support. The eversen bill is a massive rip off, at least martinez was a worthy opponent and we had Simpson v smith. Eversen is not world class and the chief support is appleby v an afrobum.

If Martinez bill was the champions league then Eversen is the League cup.

I stand corrected the cheapest ticket for the Eversen fight is £45, which for is a rip off considering the Mag 7 was about the same price. I may be a stingy beggar but all i want is value for money which Boxing in scotland havent been recently.

I think the Burns v Martinez card was pretty good value, however I agree with Bluenosehf on the December show. For a World Title card it's rotten.

Cant argue with 35-40, thats the kind of cash youd pay to watch Rangers play Man U next week.
I fancied going to the Paul Graham show in Wishaw that is coming up because I've trained and sparred with a few lads that are fighting, but I aint paying £40 to watch folk hat were fighting amatuer a year ago.

Are you really a boxing fan ? I paid £40 for the same card and i got about 4 hours entertainment ... i watched all the undercard fights .surely if your just going to go and watch the main event your going to be dissapointed ,

i think it was good value for money ,i dont ming paying about £40 esp if there is a World title fight involved, and remeber they had to pay to bring over the puerto rican aswell so that wouldent have been cheap

comapre it to what you get for a spl match ? or going to see scotland play at football or rugby .its actually good value ...

Anyone going to the Scotstoun bill on 27th? Luis Garcia and Carslaw in action. Paying £30 and £40 for that seems better value than the Wishaw bill

Yes iam really a boxing fan, a big one. All i want is some competitive fights. There were only 2 on the Martinez card and 0 on the Eversen card.
