Could Spinks have as much success as Moorer did against Stewart?

Spinks used Stewart as preparations for the Tyson bout. I never understood Futch using that guy as any sort of barometer for what Mike Tyson was going to present.

Stewart gets hit much to easily to win this. Will he hang tough---probably. Winning is another ballgame.

Alex was a good fighter who lacked confidence .I expect Spinks to win on points .RIP Alex.

Spinks is to fast of foot and hand and moved in and out in extremely unorthodox angles which was completely to his advantage. You never knew what was coming when Spinks started a combo, the Tyson fight was just a disaster, outside of that fight Spinks won every fight he ever had as a pro and yes that includes the 2nd Holmes fight, though it was a razor thin margin and I wouldn't argue with anyone who had Holmes winning but I think Michael pulled it out, and he definitely won the first bout vs Holmes. He absolutely DESTROYED Cooney in an under appreciated performance

Michael was extremely well conditioned and could fight hard for 15 rounds with ease!!

He simply outclasses Alex who I happend to have met many years back and have quite an affection for, he was a very nice man and gave us some good heavyweight slug fests. He was no slouch and could crack with that right hand. His first fight vs Holyfield and his fights with Foreman and Moorer were all 3 classics and Alex had his moments and really tested all 3!!

But Michael would just have to much, he was an ATG light heavyweight and a very solid Heavyweight, he was all done by the time he met Tyson and completely terrified, I lived thru both Eras and honestly Michael just feels like he's from the previous era to Tyson.

He wins this one probably by a decision or he cuts Alex up and wins on a TKO..
