I have to say i´m a big fan of him but since i NEVER saw a thread about him i wanted to ask other people who actually know him whether they feel the same about him.
Just looking at a picture of him he doesn´t look that impressive since he is not that ripped or anything. But when you see him fight you recognize he has a good technique combined with decent power. His left hook is outstanding. From the looks of it his ring intelligence is also remarkable.
Plus he´s a southpaw.Combined that makes for a very good package.
I think he has the most potential at cruiserweigh right know.

So do you guys think we have a future champ here?

In short, yes. Has has everything one would look for in a prospect and very little to question at this stage.

I have seen some of his matches. Alekseev is an AMAZING pound for pound type of talent.

At the risk of hyping someone too much, too soon, I have to agree with you.

Alekseev is legit, and has off the charts potential. I think he's got everything to be the next great Cruiserweight.

His lead left hand is magic. Truly one of the best prospects out there, too bad he's with Spotlight/Universum, not Arena.

    About the thread(s) you're looking for, I made a few :D

The power, speed, timing, and technique are there. Alekseev can deliver the scientific KO like few can. Even the anti-Euro fans will like him.

Nah! Lebedev is a good fighter, but he doesnt play in Alexeev's dimension.

Lebedev can punch, but so can Alexeev. The former Russian amateur star probably has the edge in all other departments.

Besides Lebedev was out of the ring for a very long time due to personal problems.I am still not sold on the new version of Lebedev.
I very much like him,but lets wait and see how he fares against good opposition in one of his next fights.

Alexeev's potential is great. He is cut out for the golden throne of an undisputed cruiser weight king.
He will rule the roost for a very long time.
Cant really see fighters like Macca,Cunningham,or Adamek defeating this outstanding boxer.

He really was! One of the most feared bangers at the amateurs.
Solis luckily won a bloody close point decision against him.
He knocked Zuev, the olympic silver medal winner who floored his American foe Devin Vargas twice on his way to win the medal, brutally out.
A southpaw with murderous firepower. A very dangerous combination, isnt it!
