The Special One in their last fight where the hapless duo was taken to school by the average Shawn Porter and journeyman Marcos Maidana. I dread to think what Brook would've done to them. :yikes
Oh that's who is was talking about! . . . Brook needs to step it up . . . make a trip across the pond maybe? Personally I do not see much Special about K . . . but hopefully I am wrong
Porter would win 9-10 rounds, Alexander would win 6-8 rounds, Maidana would TKO him, and Broner would win 5-7 rounds. Kell Brook is busy partying it up after his epic, career defining, British P4P great two fight run of rematching Carson Jones and stopping Viacheslav Senchenko. Been waiting years for him to make his move. Hasn't happened. Hasn't lost the zero yet, but the first Jones fight was close enough and he showed me enough weaknesses that Brook will not last at the world level once he finally grows a pair, given how much he talks, and faces a top 10 WW. Brooks' resume is nowhere near that of any of the four fighters mentioned in this post. Any faith in him beating any or multiple of them comes down to just that; faith.
Brook has shown me nothing to suggest he beats Maidana, Carson Jones who is like Maidana but no where near as good was beating the **** out of Brook. maidana if he gets Brook on the ropes like Journeyman Jones (yes he is one, not Maidana, who is world class) did then he gets knocked out.
I'll admit, he definitely shocked me in his victory over Senchenko. I'd like to see more of him to be fully convinced. Too bad Khan wants a payday otherwise that fight would be worth tuning in for.
brook hasn't earnt a shot at khan khan's taken chances to make his name outside of Britain, its not unfair to expect the same of brook
i will give you that. but it is hard to take the guy seriously when all he does is shout across the ocean
Porter has just won a world championship by fighting limited opposition he is on the cusp of being a star. Maidan has beat a cpl of big names
