Alexander Dimitrenko vs. Michael Sprott & undercard RBR

Round 1

Dimitrenko pushes out a jab, unfolding his left arm slowly in repetitive motions. Sprott just eases back and lets Dimitrenko come to him, the jabs all caught on the gloves. Sprott is hooked in the body as he backs nearly to the ropes, but keeps blocking the jabs that constitute most of Dimitrenko's offense. Sprott inches forward and threatens with his own trio of jabs that momentarily back Dimitrenko up. Nice reach-down left hand to the body by Sprott. Dimitrenko circles left and jabs. Sprott lunges in and they clinch. Break called. Dimitrenko jabs at nothing while Sprott circles wide. Right to the hip by Dimitrenko. Combo by Dimitrenko is blocked. 1-2 is blocked but knocks Sprott back to the ropes.

Gomez's jab hadn't quite faded into Bolivian in the 9th...it was fading but still existent. :yep

 

Maybe they were in a hurry getting out of bed this morning to catch their taxi to the Dima Sportcenter.

 

Round 2

Dimitrenko is slow to attack, but is knocking Sprott back into the ropes every time he rips off a 1-2. Primarily Dimitrenko just jabs and circles while bouncing at the knees. Sprott leaps in with some wide hooks thrown at chest-level for him that just clap against Dimitrenko's right hip. Dimitrenko sizes Sprott up with the jab from outside, then catches him ducking into a clinch. Sprott doubles his jab thrown up at an incline, and misses.
