Round 1

Body hooks by Boytsov, coming forward slowly as the flabby Yank jiggles away. A mixture of high jabs into the gloves and hooks to the body by Boytsov now. Even the blocked jabs are tapping Greer on the nose. Greer is dropping his arms down heavily in an attempt to grab Boytsov or simply bump him back. Boytsov is too quick on his feet, leaping back and countering. Greer waves in with some ridiculously slow and telegraphed wavy head shots and Boytsov nails him with a counter 1-2 backing up. Uppercuts by Boytsov. Lead hook to the face by Boytsov rocks Greer. Uppercut has him reeling at the bell. Greer's nose broken and bloody. Boytsov has barely exerted himself.

I had guessed 2nd round. That is looking pretty good.

 

Greer's trainer is actually calling for a haymaker. That is his exact wording. :blood "Where dat haymaker? Come on, go for broke!"

 

Round 2

Boytsov jabs Greer in the face through his gloves while backing him up. Only a few right crosses are thrown in the first minute but they rock Greer. Boytsov gets close and starts chopping at Greer's face with short and powerful hooks over the top. Greer is wobbled and has to hold, nearly knocking Boytsov back into the ropes with his sheer density and inability to maintain his own balance. Boytsov sweeps around Greer in semi-circles, his footwork not especially fast but enough to keep Greer windshield-wiping trying to keep up. Several jabs to the face by Boytsov, not showing any readiness to finish his man off but for a hook to the body or short uppercut to the chin here and there.

Round 3

Greer throws a useless jab and Boytsov just stares down his nose (and across two feet of empty space) at it. Boytsov circles in on him and starts to locate jabs on Greer's already busted nose. Greer's noisy chief second is yelling for something to be thrown over the jab, anything. Greer swipes at him and grazes him and gets praised for it. Boytsov is hanging in close and persistently jabbing, landing at like an 80% clip and snapping Greer's head back. Greer is able to land a limp jab or two of his own while backing up, just reaching out with gentle caresses across Boytsov's cheek. Now Boytsov brings back the body hooks after about thirty seconds of inactivity. He quickly cuts a full circle around Greer and starts to jab and hook at his head. Greer is backed up a few steps and taps ihs gloves together, pumping himself up. Short burst of straight shots by Boytsov backs him up again but Greer is following his corner's questionable advice and applying pressure. Boytsov is caught by a wild overhand right but not hurt. Boytsov keeps landing jabs.
