Rovčanin went from having a draw with Dinitrenko, to suddenly having an L by disqualification on his previously lossless record a few weeks later, due to some weird rule upon review.

 

What is baffling about that is, the DQ should've come in the seventh round when he took his third point deduction...so the final 3.5 rounds should be treated as, what, having never officially happened?

Also, some kind of supervisor or somebody representing the commission ought to have been present for the fight, right? So as they're watching no part of them ever thought "hmm..lotta point deductions in this one" and then put together "oh wait, in this commission we have that rule where three deductions means you've struck OUT!" and mentioned something as it was happening?

Why did it take weeks for this rule to be 'remembered'? And why didn't they just let it go and let the draw (a neutral result) stand on bi records since the party responsible had slept on it on the night and the "extra" time after the supposedly disqualifying third deduction was indeed fought through?
