Hermansson slams Nicholson down to the mat early in the opening frame... Nicholson tries for a guillotine, but there's nothing.. Hermansson quickly gets out and gets to side control, before switching to better position and proceeds to pummel Nicholson with ground and pound until the ref stops it.

Completely disagree... Solid event so far. Smith/Camozzi is the only mediocre fight.

And even that was just a solid one sided workman like performance from Smith, not like it was the worst thing ever on the eyes.

Enkamp might lose this, but he's got a lot of upside.

Akhnedov catches a kick and takes down Alhassan down about 30 seconds in, Alhassan manages to scoot to the fence and manages to get back to his feet... Both guys winging bombs but nothing is landing let, Alhassa coming forward.. Akhmedov shoots and takes down Alhassan, but he doesn't keep him there for long before Alhassan is able to force his way b back to the feet. Both guys are slightly tentative but still winging big shots, Alhassan is coming forward but not doing a wholelot. with abut a minute 30 to go both trade massive low kicks to the lead leg. Akhemodov is starting to pick at Alhassan from the backfoot with kicks and jabs, he's the more refined of the two on the feet for sure... Catches Alhassan with a few big punchs with about 30 seconds to go, just sheer luck that one of those big bombs didn't find their mark on Hassans chin.

    10-9 Akhmedov

Al hassan cracks Akkhedov with a big kick to the body to start the round, Al hassan lands a right hand behind the ear... Akhmedov is still throwing though.. Looks like he's a bit buzzed, but he gets reactive takedown on Alhassan.... Alhsassan quickly gets back to his feet and also immediately begins to walk the Akhmedov down, Akhemedov cracks him with a big overhand right and gets another takedown against the fence. Alhassan gets back to the feet, appears to be tired as he walks akhemedov down at a tippy-toe pace... Both guys countering each other with big shots, but it's Alhassans whos landing the bigger shows and walking his man down. Another takedown for Akkemedov, Alhassan s takedown defense is woeful, especially for a Judoka... Akhemedov is in half mount peppering away with small shots... nearly as the mounted crucifix secured. Akhemedov spends the last 20 seconds alternating between is mans head and body until the bell sounds.

    10-9 Akhemedov.
