Alexander fought like a seasoned pro last night. He figured out Urango, turned with Urango's shots, and threw his own uppercut. He jabbed, and he earned Urango's respect early which seemed to make Urango fight a fight he isn't used to fighting. Urango threw a lot of punches that he normally doesn't throw because Alexander was so fast. Urango's shots at times lacked power. Urango seemed to impatient, and he paid for his mistake. Speed kills.

What I saw in the Darcman-Guerrero fight was pure heart. Darc hit Gato with so many clean shots to the head and body that I thought that Gato might be damaged if he lasted. He not only lasted, but he had a slim chance to get to Darc in rounds 11 and 12. Gato too inhuman punishment that stops other guys, and he has my total respect.

Gato showed a cast iron chin, and those are the types of fighters I love. He was a second behind Darc all night, but he almost caught up to Darc who had enough gas in the tank to finish. Darc actually got tired of hitting the man lol... I did not catch the post fight comments from Vic so if any of you know what he says, post his remarks, and let me know if he spoke of Donaire's name lol...

It must have been very frustrating for the crab man who hit Guerrero with everything but the stool.

Guerrero sure can take a punch.

Guerrero in Spanish means warrior BTW and that kid was pure warrior at heart.

Not sure what was going on in Guerrero's corner but I myself would have tried to have the fight stopped. The only thing I can think of that his corner was thinking is that their boy had a punchers chance but I did not hear any constructive or helpful instructions from anyone in Guerrero's corner in other words no game plan. :-(

Vic punches hard if you let him, but while it looks like Vic is landing hard, technically, his punches seem a lot at time to be arm punches and maybe his punches are not landing as hard as we think...or Gato had one hell of a chin. I go with the latter...

I was surprise too unbelievable the way Guerrero took those punches without even blinking, I watched the fight until the 8th I think and I had to leave but when I leaved i really thought Vic was getting tired and started to think Guerrero might had a chance in the later rounds but I couldnt see the ending, Considering Vic hits VERY HARD Guerrero showed one of the best chins I have seen in years, It reminded me JCC's chin...I have LOTS of respect for Guerrero what a warrior...

Guerrero has one hell of a chin, but i thought his corner should've stopped the fight somewhere from the 8th or 9th round. He was receiving a beating and nothing suggested he could come back into the fight. Anyway, he lost the fight but not his pride.

While you have to respect Guerro's chin, taking that many clean shots to the head is no good whatsoever for your long term health.

Yea, sometimes heart can get you killed. I really don't like to hear these young fighters fainting and being rushed to the hospital for hemorages in their heads. A good corner would have stopped it and let him fight another day.

the Alexander fight right at the start of the Guerrero fight, which was a bonus, but yeah I agree Guerrero took a helluva amount of punishment, pity the bloke has no skills to go with his chin and heart.

Vic throws straight punches and arm punches, so I could see how Gato lasted... Heck of a chin though...

The huge hookercut Alexander landed on Urango was simply vicious. No matter how good a chin you got your gonna go down if you get hit with something like that. Reminds me of the big hook Casamayor caught Katsidis with.
