There's no doubting that Alexander has avoided fighting Brook. It's excusable if you're Alexander, and I don't think anyone in his position would go ahead with the Brook fight, however, that doesn't mean to say it can't be called what it is. Alexander has avoided fighting Brook and faked injury to do that. That is a duck, whether it's justified or not. At least British fans will get refunded. Hopefully there can be an interesting bout made in Britain for Brook to pick up the vacant world title.
It's only a duck if you take a lesser fight. This isn't like Alexander opted to fight a domestic-level opponent. He's potentially fighting the best fighter in the world, in a unification bout, for some career high purse. This ducking bull**** is so tedious. Apparently Donaire was ducking Rigondeaux, ffs!
Duck my arse Its **** tactics by Alexander (if indeed he has been offered a Mayweather fight -- unlikely), and back luck on Brook...but duck hahaha Was Brook ducking Alexander when he was "injured" prior to the arranged 19th January date?
i agree with everything except the last part. Donaire is dodging that that. Rigo has signed to fight Donaire but there trying to make Donaire vs Darchinyan!
Rigondeaux is absolutely pointless. He's done nothing as a pro. Although, apparently Rigondeaux is sorting promotional issues, isn't he? Donaire has beaten better than Rigo.
I've never heard of a fighter ducking a lesser guy to face the best fighter in the sport. That's certainly a new one.
Donaire is the number 1 fighter at SBW. Rigo is No.2. Thats why they should fight. And your well behind when it comes to promotional contracts. Seriously this is one of the best fights thats can be made in boxing right now. are you actually a boxing fan? what fights would excite you for Donaire...and anybody else for that matter?
Rigondeaux has been offered $750,000 to face Donaire. The highest purse of his career. He has not signed the contract because of other issues. It isn't Donaire's fault that the fight won't happen in April.
Donaire is the one that hasnt signed the contact. Ask Paddy who posts on here sometimes he is part of Rigos team
If he doesn't vacate but also refuses to fight Brook then it is a duck I'm afraid. It would be different had they not signed a contract or been in training to fight each other but they have. He's let Kell train his bollocks off for months and only three weeks until the fight he's bailed out of it. If he vacates the belt then fair enough, he's decided to go elsewhere with his career. He absolutely cannot expect to be allowed to keep it though if he really is going to fight Mayweather.
That's not true. http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/sports/02/06/13/arum-if-rigo-doesnt-sign-darchinyan-gets-donaire
