I wish that gay troll would just FO from here. I may get a mate whos a computer whizz to track him down via some kind of IP address etc and then ill pop round and remove his internet connection for good. He does not rate Burns, thinks Brook will get schooled and now hes a Kessler fan because hes fighting Froch ... He just hates UK fighters to cause offence. Ive never in my life put ( or wish to ) put someone on ignore on a internet forum before .... but this guy is beyond dumb. Your on my ignore list now you sad dumb ******. /rant over but damn i feel better now.
I think we need to get some clarity. I heard that the fight has been "called of" not "postponed" or "put back". Has there been a diagnosis of Alexander, has that team confirmed how long he will be out? Somehow I just dont think this fight is gonna happen next for either fighter now. Got no go all over it after the put backs. It aint just the fighters trying to get in tip top condition, they are pulling out due to niggles, and with it being a mand and over in the US, they will need to take into account the logistics on Brook's side. Like people have said, they have booked to travel over twice now, somehow I just don't think this fight is gonna go ahead. Everything is pointing to it not happening, its destined, one pull out after the other. Nothing anybody can do. It's just f*cked up fate. If it aint meant to be, it aint meant to be. Brook is raring to go and he and his team have timed the training accordingly and perfectly to plan. So has Devon no doubt, but with this latest pullout, it throws everything up in the air. When they do everything to prepare themselves, physically and mentally for supreme condition for a set date and these obstacles come along right at the last minute. It throws everything out the window.
Is this K9 Bundrage now topping the bill?Who is he fighting?Bit of a coincidence this.About 3yrs ago he pulled out of a fight with Brook. If the latter had won, which he quite possibly would have,he would have been further on in his career than he is now, possibly champion already.Almost makes you hope K9s man pulls out, giving Kell a chance a weight up.
I doubt it very much to be honest though, Brook and his team have trained 110% for Alexander, taking another fight could be disastrous for Kell Brook. I think they are wise enough to realize that though fortunately. Many fighters would want another fight, we've seen it time and again, lots of times it has ended in tears. IMO, they just have to be patient and wait on Alexander, hopefully it gets Brook more fired up when they meet. Brook and team will think Alexander is trying a duck, no hiding place though because Brook is the mandatory. In fact, I was set on Alexander easy work, but if the fight still goes ahead, I'm not so sure on that now. Brook may have more reasons to win this fight after this latest mess. He may well be hungrier when the fight/if the fight, comes around.
Doubt what mate?. Was talking about the K9 fight that was muted a few years back. No probs Ted. I agree nice to see grinders having there chance to shine etc.
"Long time no see" Fruit Bat! :good @Skills: I'm talking about a change of opponent if Alexander doesnt recover quickly. It's a no-no IMO, I think they need to wait for Alexander before fighting anyone else. TED was mentioning something about it. I can't believe that card is still going ahead without the main event.
Oh ok, Yeah i do agree i'd stick to waiting for a WW title shot. Come back and fight on Froch card if Alexander isn't around. Talk of Alexander vs Mayweather now. Sad situation really..
USA Rob mentioned it yesterday as a possible reason out of three. I agreed with number 3, which was in fact, dropping out of the fight because he got the call from Mayweather!! Mayweather cherry picks so many fights, he knows Alexander is easy work. But money talks. And he generates money in the sport like no other, its a shame really, that it seems to be the pinnacle of any fighter today, to get that fight with Mayweather, win or lose (most likely lose) it don't matter, unless they make huge money! Sad state of affairs really. I hope this rumor is BS and Kell gets his fight, he really needs it now. Desperately. "This is it 2.....we really mean it this time" might be on after all!!! ****s sake!
I thought Mayweather managed/looked after Alexander? can't see them fighting....Alexander injury does sound slightly dubious aswell. Alexander fought much better competition, (beaten 3 times in my opinion - matthyse, kotelnik and bradley) but is obviously a good fighter. The biggest thing for me in this fight is the size difference. Kell looks huge compared to Alexander who is probably somewhere between LWW and WW, whereas Brook looks a very big welterweight with his new scientific approach and looks ripped. Imposing this size on the contest and fight effectively on the inside would be the key for brook here if it happens
