I must admit. I was somewhat impressed with his performance against Paulie and give him full credit for the win.

 

Khan can counter and beat people to the punch too. He's done it against faster fighters than Devon has. Khan has fast footspeed on top of that. Faster combinations than Devon does. If we're arguing ring generalship, one need only look at how the scorecards end up in most of the mans fights, he swept Kotelnik and Paulie at their own game.

Listen man, I like Devon and all. He's a hometown fighter for me and so I root for him a lot, but he has more holes in his game than Khan does. He simply hasn't faced anyone with the skills and IQ to exploit them. Kotelnik will be a good test of his skill progression and I expect him to do very well, but he has holes-especially to anyone with a good left, and they will be exploited by superior comp.

 

I think anyone with a low lead vs Khan is going to have trouble, Khan with his high guard can expose that stance, because of his speed, timing , and great jab.

I'd take Con over anyone at 140 if he had a chin. No so sure with the china being in danger of getting shattered. I think I would have to take Alexander by KO. He is likely the better overall fighter right now. Con's seems all offense (though very impressive). Con may have the advantage in a few years, but both are same age so who knows.

Amir Khan has a lot of talent... as an athlete. Unfortunately for him, in the upper echelons of boxing you need a solid chin. It doesnt have to be granite, but it can't be made of rice paper either.
