I wonder if GBP is going to stream the non-HBO undercard bouts (at least Bogere vs. Reyes and Wilder vs. Hayes) on their website. That would be cool. :good

 

Surprised to see Maidana and Alexander (both perfectly comfortable looking light welterweights) so close to the WW limit for this one.

 

Can't wait!

 

I was expecting Alexander to be at about 144 for this, he'll need to be light on his feet to circle and keep Maidana off of him.

Both guys really should be at 140lbs, so like IB said, it's weird to see them so close to the 147lb limit.

I do have a feeling that Maidana won't be as powerful up at this higher weight.

 

Who knows, maybe some of Devon's regular shoe-shine punches will have some pop with the added weight. :think

THe guy probably walks around at 150 how do you expect him to be 144 at the weight in

 

His punches don't have pop because he's moving backwards most of the time when he throws. He doesn't throw with forward momentum much.
