    What happened to this guy as a pro?

    He was a very decorated Soviet amateur with 200+ wins, an Olympic medal, as well as other medals at European and World championships. Beat Lennox Lewis.

    When he turned pro he smashed a bunch of cans and then lost to a debuting Maskaev. Never stepped inside a ring again. Any info?

    Always wondered myself. Apparently he was the more premier prospects to come out of the Olympics and who was highly touted. Too bad his career never panned out
