Clearly not a guy you want to stand in front of and trade. Despite being past prime I still think he's the best inside fighter at heavyweight. Joshua better keep him on the end of his jab or he could be in trouble.

Povetkin is and always was a great fighter. If not the Klitschkos he would have been the champ for the last 8 years.

It's a testament to wlady how clearly he beat povetkin. And I will tell you the Joshua fight is a 50/50 fight

NO it wont. It Will be similar to wlad-povetkin. Joshua CAN contrary to wlad fight om The inside, where He Will rip povetkin with uppercuts. A punch wlad couldnt throw to save his life.....joshua ko inside 8 rounds.

That uppercut is why I can't favour Povetkin in this fight. I think Povetkin will have more success inside than he did vs Wlad as Joshua won't just tie him up, he'll fire back. But with that success Povetkin finds with his offence he'll also have to take uppercuts as the price for being able to work on the inside and that combined with the shots he'll have to take coming in will be his undoing.

You mean holding and then throwing uppercuts (an illegal punch)? Joshua couldn't even directly drop and then keep a suspect chinned Wladimir Klitshckop down for the 10 count after landing one of his best / most powerful uppercuts. And he needed a premature stoppage over this same Wladimir Klitschko who was more brutally stopped and in far less time a decade ago by other boxers. And this same Wladimir Klitschko has an inferior chin and punch resistance than Alexander Povetkin. But sure! If you say so!

I'm guessing you were one of those same posters that claimed Joshua would KO / stop Joseph Parker and Carlos Takam within the distance, more impressively and less controversially than how it happened.

you Guys and your hatr towards joshua is laughable.. wlad wasnt stopped prematurely, get over it! He lost fair and square, Takam was stopped TOO soon but you cant blame joshua for WHAT The ref does....Povetkin would face The same task In joshua AS He faced In wlad. A Big strong powerfull champ WHO would keep him at Bay with powerjabs and hurt him over and over.....

    Even at 38 years old?

Povetkins age is an issue, no matter what you say.

Also an issue that AJ or the super HWs just need to copy what Wlad did to beat him. These super HWs have his number now, that cant be taken back

Wlad was standing and blocking pretty much every punch when the fight was prematurely stopped. That happens to be a norm in most of Joshua's bouts.

Joshua definitely hits MUCH harder than cruiserweight Marco Huck, who hurt Povetkin more than once in their fight -

Lol at premature stoppage for Wlad, how many times does Wlad have to be dropped before it was a timely stoppage, he was done on the ropes taking punches and wasn't firing back.
