Alexander Povetkin has finished first phase of training for fight with Price.

You know what, it might well be. Price is deadly for the first 48 seconds I'm backing Povetkin all the way, but I have to admit it would bring a little tear to one's eye if the much maligned homeboy finally came good.

 

You're correct, Hearn made the offer to Povetkin to face either Chisora or Price. There was at least one thread about this a while ago, a lot of Hearn haters and Povetkin nuthuggers saying it was a bull**** offer and he couldn't afford to pay Povetkin. But clearly it was a genuine offer.

I mock Price more than anyone on here but I will be cheering the big stiff plumber with all my heart. Gets all my respect for taking this fight, imagine if he just destroys Povetkin with a right uppercut, while he is at the point of total exhaustion. Can't ****ing wait for this fight.

Basically, go for broke in the first two rounds, and if Povetkin isn't outta there by then, dive/quit before getting KO'ed cold.

Chinless, anxiety ridden Price's fights are always entertaining.
I damn near pissed myself when the commentator exclaimed "David price is struggling to retain his boxing stance!!" While Price was bending over offering his ass for Christian Hammer to defile.
It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion.

I do feel bad for him because despite his stature and punching power the guy is obviously a natural beta male with anxiety and confidence issues.
