Can we make a pact for the league, EVERYONE must vote for Price too win, just so we are all backing Price on the night.

 

Would be a real Cinderella story if Price could somehow put it all together for one night, inspired by fighting in front of 70-80K fans and pull out a dramatic KO win. Would be like something out of a Rocky movie, lol.

 

This is all risk and no reward fight for Povetkin. He'll get 0 credit for winning and he'll be crucified and labeled a fraud if he loses to Price.

 

Haha. As much as I'd love if if the sparring legend version of the big plumber came out and destroyed Povetkin the reality is going to be more smashed glass than a Stone Cold Steve Austin highlight video and Price continuing to claim he has only ever been beaten by drug cheats.

True, but the purpose of the fight isn't to build Povetkin's legacy, it's simply to make Povetkin look good for the UK casuals who don't know who he or Price is. He'll KO Price in impressive fashion, UK casuals will see him KOing some 6'8" giant and that will sell the fight with Joshua.

If Price does somehow win, then Hearn wins still win as he'll have a UK clash and use the story that Price knocked down Joshua in sparring as a way to promote the fight.

I can't work Price out, it's as if his only goal in boxing is brain damage.

 

Phase One: Break a teacup. Phase Two: Smash a window...

 

Then I'd say he's already achieved more of his goals then half of the posters on this board. The trick is making them realistic and attainable.
