They were other US athletes who were caught, but the difference is they did it on their own, not a state sponsored and endorsed program like in Russia.
Also, when those US athletes were caught (by US testing), they were humiliated on US media, banned from competing, made to give back their medals, received financial penalties and some like Marion Jones even did jail time.

I'll bet Maria Sharapova won't do any jail time or pay anywhere near as hefty a price as Jones. In fact, now they are calling her a poor soul with a bad heart who needed to take the medicine, but the drug manufacturer just came out and said she was lying.

No, totally incorrect. Do some research first. Not only are you incorrect, but Povetkin's team was willing to make concessions on the samples being tested by agencies in the U.S., Russia, and Germany if need be.

"Hryunov has no objection to NADA being the organization to take the actual blood and urine samples from Wladimir, but he proposes to have NADA, RUSADA and American-based VADA [Voluntary Anti-Doping Association] test the samples of both fighters."

"In this particular instance, the Klitschko people would like to see the testing performed by an agency that is based in Germany, which also happens to be the base they more or less fight out of, and Povetkin’s connections would rather see an agency is Russia conduct the process...Vlad Hrunov...would like to have a so-called neutral country like the U.S. (perhaps in the form of VADA) do the process."

"That is not the only problem, Klitschko's team is against having the doping tests take place during the training camp for this fight. They are only comfortable with the option of a single test - taking place after the match. We are not confortable with that and any expert will tell you why," Ryabinsky told Kommersant."

    Nah, not quite.
First, not all those athletes were caught domestically, and back in the day there was a massively coverup going on.
For instance I was a big Carl Lewis fan back in the day, until it all the **** came out.

Forgot to mention Jordan as free of big suspicion too by the way

Russia now is bad. Very bad.
But don't act like the US was any better back in the day, and nowadays their athletes on a personal level. Most really big names in sports cheat. Not all of them though, mainly due to much better and international testing

Of course, Wlad very likely cycles on PEDs, stops a month or so before his fights.

The juice wasn't working for Klit in his last fight though!

Povetkin and Pac are guilty of using PEDs.
