I always thought it was a little funny that a 35 year old Povetkin who never had much of a physique looked when he fought Perez the best shape in his life he was also never a big puncher but stops Perez in 2 rounds that raised a reg flag for me.

Yeah you're right it was one round that was crazy then you look at his body and you're like something here ain't right.

Yes he looks much better than he did earlier in his career.

 

Looks perfectly normal for a 35 year old guy to me. And not so different than his past appearences.

Povetkin went back to the drawing board after the embarrassing loss to Wlad, it was the wake up call he need to realize that he was half-assing things. I guess every fighter who suffered a bad loss, went back to the drawing board and reassessed their career and came back better was on the juice. A lot of greats who juiced then!
