Nothing about this fight surprised me, it was basically exactly as everyone predicted, a decision for Povetkin, or it would have been save for an absolutely pointless stoppage.

Wilder is not Wach people, he's not a statue with no power. He may not have Wach's chin, but it doesn't matter cause he's not gonna get hit that many times.

Wilder got hit plenty against Molina and Duhaupus both inferior to Povetkin. Does Wilder have a chance sure, he can punch and has big reach advantage but the way he has looked I can only see Povetkin as a comfortable favorite on this match.

Define plenty, but both Molina and Duhaupus were taller than Povetkin. Stiverne didn't hit Wilder much.

Stiverne is slow as hell he dont know how to cut the ring.
    Povetkin is murdering Wilder.
Wilder have bad footwork, and his defence and chin is even worst.
Tho i agree with you on stoppage. It was idi****.
Wach was start okay, before he run out of gas, du to Povetkin workrate.
Wilder is not use on such pace and will be KOTF inside 5 rounds.

His footwork is not even close to bad, and his chin being bad is really more perceived than real. You can't say a guy whose never been stopped or even beaten has a bad chin. Questionable maybe but not bad.

He was badly hurt by a Firtha jab, he made a dance after a Molina uppercut, he got dropped multiple times by Sconiers and above all that Dustin Nichols dropped him with a check jab. Ofcourse he got a bad jaw.

    1. Nichols never touched him, period. He slipped. Although I will admit if I was a HW champion I'd be humiliated I was ever in the ring with a guy like that. Wouldn't even necessarily have to be beaten or even knocked down by him.

    2. He was never badly hurt by Firtha's jab, he was slightly off balance, you redefining what it means to be badly hurt with your own personal definitions doesn't change that.

    3. Sconiers may be the most valid argument, probably the only legit time Wilder was ever knocked down, but considering he's beaten superior fighters since, it means little.

He's not. Seriously he beat four solid names, but this is the HW division. Most HWs are not even that good. Besides Wlad took care of a better Wach years ago, who has Wach beaten since then? Perez is overrated. Charr got destroyed years ago by Vitali. Takem was doing well against Povetkin before he got stopped.

Povetkin is good, but if/when he beats Wilder, his reign at having a true belt will be short considering he'll be 37, guys like Parker and Joshua will be here, plus I see Wlad whipping him in Germany in a unification fight. Even his promoter said he's still growing and not ready for Wlad rematch yet.

wlad needs to stop ducking that rematch.

Fight in russia, no biased ref allowing wlad to hold every 2 seconds.

Newsflash, the fight WAS in Russia bro. And Wlad isn't ducking him, as much as Povetkin fanboys like to believe he did nothing but wrestled him, he decked him good plenty as well.

How is he ducking a rematch???

He's fighting his mandatory next against Fury as he did with Pulev last year, as he did with Povetkin the year before.

If Povetkin beats Wilder then they'll most defiantly be a rematch. Keep in mind as I said in my post above Povetkin's team doesn't seem to keen on a rematch right now anyway, saying that Povetkin(36) is still growing as a fighter.

As for a possible fight in Russia, Wlad already beat him up there, so logically the fight should be in Germany next. Also both fighters have to agree to a ref.
