It certainly isn't global. Boxing is a global sport.

They certainly don't have complete authority over fights/or doling out punishment for fights that took place in Russia, which is where all the fights were scheduled that Povetkin has tested positive for to date.

His physique is strongly indicative of ped use and he had steroids shipped to his address under the name Evan Fields

Presumably we are allowed to use common sense

Multiple fighters from that era have admitted steroid use despite never failing tests which isn't surprising giving testing was primitive

Sanctioned fights are sanctioned fights. I'm not sure what you mean but also I'm genuinely asking. I don't know that you're wrong, I'm just unsure what you mean.

The WBC Silver certainly falls under the WBC under the ABC ... so ... Tf do you mean not in Russia?

You want to strip record based on common sense?

Did Holy really never fail a test? That must have seem loaded when you read that. I didn't know.

Well you made it sound like
Povetkin would have KTFO Whyte every time. Anyways it was a good KO for Povetkin.

The Association of Boxing Commissions (if that's what you meant by ABC) isn't a global organization. It's an organization made up of athletic commissions in North America.

Bermane Stiverne, Tyson Fury, Hughie Fury, and countless others did the same things around the same time. Purely political.

They are retroactively testing samples from past fights for Povetkin with new tools that can detect stuff that wasn't traceable then so he passed a lot of the tests he is now being retroactively suspended for. how about they do the same for Holyfield considering he was caught buying PEDS?
Late Wednesday, SI.com reported that the name "Evan Fields" appeared on law enforcement documents reviewed by the Web site in connection with the Mobile investigation. SI.com dialed a phone number associated with "Fields" that was listed on one of the documents, and Holyfield answered the call. "Fields" listed birth date in the document -- Oct. 19, 1962 -- also is the same as Holyfield's.

According to SI.com, the individual who authorities believe to be Holyfield picked up prescriptions that came from Applied Pharmacy. According to records reviewed by SI.com, Holyfield picked up vials of testosterone, two vials of Glukor (a drug believed to be used during and after steroid cycles) and injection supplies. Less than a week later, according to the document, he picked up five vials of Saizen, a brand of HGH, and related supplies.

Or Marquez who was literally working with a PED designer in his camp vs Pacquiao and tried to hide it. maybe he should be tested or Mosely who admitted under oath to taking steroids. Pacquiao for doing the same as Marquez.

As far as failed tests if they do it based off of that for Povetkin then maybe Fury, Canelo, Toney, Whyte, Ortiz, Tarver, Mccline, Thompson, Morales, Stivern, Arreola, Miller and so on should also have their other tests re-ran to see if they pop again?

If they do proceed what happens to people who won the title during that period like Canelo or Fury, does that mean Fury would no longer of been a heavyweight champ or Lineal? Would Wilder have his record restored and Title returned? Would Wladamir be considered the Lineal champ until Joshua beat him? ( yes he retired but as they shown with Fury you are still officially Lineal) in doing so wouldn't that make Joshua Lineal at some point?
Would Toney's win over Jirov be taken away?
Stivern, if his record is taken away does that mean Wilder never won the WBC title what then?

I think this makes things unmanageable and while I kind of like the idea of back testing IDK if it makes sense I think it creates a lot of issues that would have to be ironed out.

Exactly they’re all on it. Who gives a fook if they failed or passed a test or not? Time to grow up lads and just enjoy the games. We all want to watch the best produce superhuman feats. That means gear. Now everybody get their big boy pants on and let’s enjoy the show. Or else shut the fook up and go watch tiddlywinks.

He didn't but he was having HGH shipped to his house under the name "Evan Fields." To many, including myself, that is as good if not better than a failed PEDs test.
