Olympic heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin (21-0, 15KOs) is planning to fight again in April 2011. He injured his right hand during last Saturday's decision victory over Nicholas Firtha in Germany. He suffered a wrist tendon tear in the second round. Povetkin continued the fight and won a decision. Manager Vladimir Hryunov says his boxer will begin light training sessions in February
When I read rehab, I assumed he was drugging it up. povetkin should have never turned down that 1st fight with wlad, 3 years ago
Can't wait for him to dust off the ring rust with a succession of no-hopers for the 18 months that follow his return.
