povetkin would have starched moorer. wladimir basically pushed povetkin over and outstrengthed him but, wladmir has quicker feet, hands and jab over An Old Foreman and also a blind german ref, staying in the pocket landing combo's as evander did, then moving out. Old foreman is obviously a beast, but he was slow, easily to work out and easily to outwork.

 

Actually Foreman has deceptive speed and it wouldn't factor here anyway as Povtkin is going to be right there in front of him coming forward with the same pattern of attack over and over. He's flat flooted and isn't half the boxer Holyfield was in his prime. He hasn't the feet to circle in and around Foreman and get in and out in sharp darts
There's blue print to beating Foreman and Povetkin doesn't come close to having it.

Mike Tyson knew how good comeback Foreman was and wanted nothing to do with him. The man was an animal and actually held back against a lot of is comeback opponents for fear of causing them serious damage. Povtkins style is all wrong for Foreman. Cus d'Amato ruined Tyson with respect to Foreman by emphasising how a smaller swarmer would get demolished by Foreman every time. He never ever imagined that his own kid would be facing him one day.

Frankly I think Prime Tyson is probably better than Frazier was against Foreman, and Young Foreman > Old Foreman with his sheer physicality. If Tyson had believed in himself he could have taken Old Foreman.
