With Haye moving up to heavyweight and him being tipped by alot of people as a future player in the division could this be a possible match for the future?

As we know Povetkin is moving rapidly through the heavyweights and i think it could/would be an interesting match.

How do you guys think it would play out?

Would be interesting all right,im going for pov who has proved he can fight and win at that class, haye needs for me to beat a few ranked men first,i really like him his power is freaky, but i dont think he would win

Very good fight. Haye is taller and has longer reach, probably quicker as well. Povetkin would put relentless pressure on Haye and maybe a behind on points would score a KO around the 8th round.

And what do you base this on?,he beat a decent man last night,he was not mike tyson,i relaly cant beleive some of the ott reactions going on here,he may well prove to be a huge factor, but if he does not put some of these men away early he may struggle,he i really dont think will be scoring quick KOs on some of the more experienced heavys,id then like to see what he does and how he reacts

I think Povetkin would grind out a win in about 8. Haye has freaky power but what happens up at heavyweight when he hits them and they fire back?

I think Povetkin is just as big a talent as Haye just with a different fighting style:bbb

more talent and beats the Russian in a area's, speed, power and has the X factor to be a great champion I have seen about 10 of haye's fights and he is going to be a beast at HW if he doesn't get to big, around 220 he will be amazing and only the top 5 will be able to compete.

Good fight...does Povetkin hit hard enough to take Haye out before Haye lands the haymaker? Not sure...

Is Povetkin's defence tight enough to avoid the haymaker for 12 rounds...Almost certainly not.

Povetkin would have to box extremely well and go for the KO whilst not falling pray to the haymaker himself...because even if Povetkin is miles ahead on the cards, once the haymaker lands, Haye is coming for you! And the haymaker is bound to land during 12 rounds.

Povetkin has a better chance against Wlad, I think. Haye, despite his dodgy chin, will come forward and take big risks to land the haymaker; Wlad does not like risks.

If Povetkin is really has bad has he was against Chambers then Haye will destroy him. Using your face has your first line of defence may be ok against the guys Povetkin is used to fighting and no punchers such has Fst Eddie but against anyone with serious power he will get stopped. Povetkin is still a work in progress waiting to get exposed.

Ok but he has beat one shite heavy in bonin who enzo would have beat, lets see how he copes with men bigger and stronger, who can hit hard, even last nights fight between peters and oleg though poor at times, proves that they can both hit hard, far harder then hayes has been in with before,if peters lands in him,hes down and out no question in my mind.

I really dont know if would be the same the other way, holyfield last night says he is great, but dont yet go over the top,he may well find the jump up a lot harder then he thinks

All im saying is lets keep things in perspective,he looks awesome, but i for one will wait and see, will he if he dont KO someone quick be able to box 12 rounds and win against a bigger man?,and how will his chin react?,for gods sake enzo was a decent man,but he was not a world beater sadly,he now knows his limits,it will be like a breath of fresh air in the heavyweight scene though, something it does need

Yeah, he can...but can he take one of Haye's haymakers? Maybe one or two, but 4-5 would end up downing anyone. Haye seems to be quite precise with them too. And Povetkin didn't deal that well with a precise, fast fighter last time. Haye is fast and precise and he hits very hard...I wouldn't bet on Povetkin. Nor would I bet on Wlad. Not sure if Haye would beat them or get stopped, but I wouldn't bet against him.
