Povetkins defence is not upto much at all. I doubt he would keep coming after being hit with Hayes right through his non existant guard a couple of times.

There would not be the relentless pressure after he felt the power, and he would get hit quite alot.

Povetkin is not the worlds hardest puncher either.

    Haye late TKO

you said did you watch last night HW fight, the likes lewis, bowe, holyfield, tyson in the 90s would have destroyed those guys with 1 months of training , on talent alone with speed of hand and feet haye beats them. HW are that bad it is a total joke and it so sad, that boxing is so good below them at moment that is a golden time and these HW are just so bad. Haye beats all of them right now, expect Wlad and the Giant.

I know he has been built up well and at a pace but the position that he is in now makes it look like he is to be fighting for titles over the next few fights. He just is not ready for that. He may pick up a win or two against he other decent guys but at the moment the elite of our average bunch will do him serious harm.

Chambers was a soft punching hype fighter who came to lose. Chambers fought an awful gameplan and although Povetkin won widely he did not impress at all. Certain aspects of Povetkins game are awful but he has time and the ability to improve. It is a dangerous time in his career and hopefully he will not end up being another false dawn.
