The question is wether Povetkin can beat Huck in a rematch or not , this should be the main question and
not wether he can beat Anthony Joshua , this is a little bit far-fetched.

Bro, lead got the better of Aj for half of the 5th and the entire 6th. He caught an over aggressive Aj coming in with his patterned left hook and beat the even living hell out of Aj for that entire 5ish mins of fight time. After already hurting him, wlad landed his ko shot on the TEMPLE, Aj was out of it. Somehow he managed to get up and from that point on he was beginning the take over which worked perfectly. Also wlad was out boxed rounds 1 thru 4.

Wlad is a great boxer, I saw the fight going exactly how it did, Aj proving to be in a different class BUT,I had wlad being finished once knocked down. I never gave wlad a chance to land those fight changing shots. Aj and especially wlad went up in my eyes, it's too bad wlad never h as that dog in him in previous years.

Povetkin was slapped around the for 12 rounds by a lazy disinterested wlad. Povetkin doesn't every deserve to be mentioned along the elites

 

Joshua. Styles.

 

Povetkin is proven over much better opposition, Joshua has the Wlad win no doubt but it was a guy who was coming off tge longest layoff in his career, plus he was 41....people seem to be ignoring this fact to push their agenda for Joshua being some sort of indestructible assassin.

Povetkin at this point in his career is just as dangerous if not more for Joshua than Wlad....team Joshua took a gamble on Wlad...it worked but we won't see him in with a Povetkin or Ortiz anytime soon.
