That was a real clash between two amazing athletes! Povetkin was motivated as hell, they both looked super durable and I kinda feel like if Povetkin gets another shot for a huge match ( against Joshua ) he can cause him some huge troubles. He is a complete different fighter after he lost against Klitschko. P.S. to all the ******ed people that really believe about the PEDS and the case with Wilder .... just don't type anything , there is no point.

    Great fight. Underrated.

If Joshua can stop Takam it will be very impressive.

Styles make fights but Takam's tight guard would not be penatrated by Parker or Windmill

This fight had to be in Russia, this is a totally artificial povetkin. The real povetkin was the fighter getting his ass handed to him by chambers until fat Eddie ran out of gas.

This poverkin is a beast tho. This version wouldn't ever make it to the ring in the states. The reason I've never truly rated povetkin is because I know the real povetkin

Chambers was a very good fighter. He put a whopping on a Dimitrenko, Brock, and Peter.

And Chambers didn't just run out of gas, Povetkin's volume punching was tremendous. Povetkin always had great stamina.

Povetkin threw a total of 929 punches per combubox.

He threw over 90 punches in round 8, 89 punches in round 11, and 80 in round 12. So the narrative that Povektin didn't have great stamina until later in his career his garbage.

Chambers hurt povetkin multiple times and chambers doesn't have big lhw power. Stop trolling chambers as some big time hw win.

Chambers ran out of gas and got beaten up from a much bigger fighter. That's the real povetkin and a far different one than the Russian version

He never appeared to hurt Povetkin in a meaningful way despite landing clean. Chambers' right hands does have snap, he ruined Brock, dropped Dimitrenko multiple times, and got Peter's respect. Getting hit flush hard when you don't expect it, doesn't feel good, big time power or not.

Very good doesn't really equate to "big time", but you are more or less trolling Chambers out to be a total bum with your comments to make Povetkin look worse.

They have equal listed reach, Povetkin is an 1 taller and was 8 pounds heavier. Hardly "much bigger" by HW standards.

Povetkin averaged 77 punches a round against Chambers, averaging more in the later rounds. No comment on that, of course.

Povetkin defeating Chambers was a good win no way around that. Povetkin has a good resume.
