Any chance of an upset in this one?

I think Cedric Boswell has a real chance, especially with Teddy Atlas in Povetkin's corner.

That being said, I'm think the most likely outcome is Povetkin by decision.

I'll be rooting for Cedric, and see about a 30% chance for him to pull it off.
I would really laugh my ass off if it happens! :yep

I would love to see Boswell win. He'll have to stop Povetkin to do it.

I'm going with Povetkin by TKO late...

Against my better judgement, I am going with Boswell in an upset via TKO. I remember Chambers catching Povetkin with straight rights early in their fight. If Boswell can do the same, I think he can stopped AP. That and I think Atlas has probably done more harm than good for Povetkin.

Until now, I thought I was the only one who believed Boswell had a chance at springing the upset. Povetkin is the heavy favorite here, but Boswell has the tools to beat him.

I want Povetkin to lose, but he'll win a UD, or get a late TKO.

  8. Povetkin has no power so I don't think he will go the TKO or KO route. Boswell will crack him inside of 5 hopefully.

It's not impossible. Cedric is a strong puncher.

Assuming Boswell can win, it will take him longer than 5 rounds. Boswell's forte is his combination punching ability, his jab, his strength, and his capacity to control the wedge. Given the flaws in Sasha's defense, it's not out of the question that Boswell could put his shots together well, get the upper hand early, then hold off a late charging Povetkin to earn the decision.

Another possibility is that Boswell might pound Sasha into a late round stoppage defeat. Boswell is not really a devastating, overpowering hitter, though. He has power, but not awesome power. For this reason I don't see any early round stoppage win for him.

Sasha is a massive favorite to win: he's up 10-1 with some betting houses.

Boswell is a puncher on par with Bruce Seldon. He's not as strong a puncher as the K Bros, though.

He has enough power to stop Boswell with a volume of punches, as he usually has other opponents he has knocked out. Wouldn't be surprised to see him do it to Boswell either. Going with a decision win for Povetkin anyway.
