agreed. i think he needs another bout in the next couple of months before we start making any big judgement calls.
Arreola is strong and isn't that slow..I think Arreola would catch Alexander eventually! If this became a "fight" and not a "boxing match" than Arreola would take it in 5...otherwise I think he takes it in 8!
I want to see Arreola fight Kevin Johnson... I think its a really good fight but its not the right time to do it. Maybe once they both take more experience and make a name for themselves. I think Povetkin would win aUD now but the more time passes, the more Arreola will improve and the more chances he has to win...
I find it funny that a boxer gets dismissed after ONE poor performance.. Only in boxing. Arreola beats McCline and of a sudden he's the next coming?? I like him too but that was against an inactive Mccline.. he's old and a part time boxer.. If anything, Arreola is the underdog..
Arreola might beat Povetkin but neither man is any where near ready to take on a Klitschko, and I dont think Povetkin ever will be.
It wasn't just that one match; look at his best win; close pts win over a tubby cruiserweight. It was a good win but imagine what an A-level heavy would do to a guy like Chambers. I like to watch Pov but hes never going to be that great, he's too beatable stylistically; doesn't have the reach to be a dominant outboxer and doesn't have the power to be a swarmer/puncher. I think Arreola would beat him as of now.
Povetkin by KO, CA looks great fighting guys like Walker and McCline but what happens when steps up to a real fighter?
I'll still take Dimitrenko to beat both ATM, but it will be interesting to see what these HW contenders do against a Klitschko.
He was coming out of a serious injury that called off his fight with Wladimir so it's only normal for him to perform the way he did as he obviously couldn't perform 100% not even in his preparation for the fight. There's a reason the IBF demanded that Abraham takes a tune-up before his mandatory when he came out of the first fight with Miranda and the surgery he went through and this is just a recent example out of many I could bring up. Speaking of Arreola vs Povetkin, I'm picking Povetkin to win this one by TKO or UD. If Arreola comes in pregnant like he does in most of his fights lately then I wouldn't be surprised at all if Povetkin blew him out within the first five rounds. Povetkin is way too underestimated over here and everything he does is looked down at it seems. I still remember the IBF tournament he was in and the people here claiming it's suicidal to put Povetkin in that one too early with many expecting him to not even make it out of the first fight and when he wins it it's meaningless. Didn't he recently take care of a way better conditioned Chambers and the fat version recently schooled Sam Peter?
Honestly Scar its really hard to even pay attention to you based on the fact that your Anti any Latino fighter~ So of course your going to pick anybody other than a Latino thats how your cut.
