I've been a fan since his K-1 days... Knew he'd have trouble at HW even at a lower level, but had hoped he'd at least get a decent payday. Fujimoto challenging for the regular actually wouldn't be too bad, especially if the fight was in Japan. There would be a ton of hype... Probably sell out the Saitama super arena.

This is going to be a wild fight.

 

Damn, Malikov has some solid technique.
But he shouldn't commit so much with the jab. Probe a bit more, get the opponent to open up.
And some wasteful footwork but nothing major.
And on the inside, he should fix his guard. Needs to hold that right glove near the left shoulder, so he can catch those right hands.


But good head movement, constantly changing guard. Keeps the opponent guessing.
