at HW? well that's because he's only ever fought one top guy - wlad.

he's knocked out and cleared all the b-tier pretenders and challengers, and has one of the better resumes out there on the field today. his (t)knockouts on wach, takam, perez and the like are a good demonstration of his power i think.

I did work for Klitschkos years ago, Vitali was also a six time world kickboxing champion, both pro and amateur, he would fight in a kickboxing fight, then go box..................when Vitali was getting ready to fight in the Olympics for the gold, he had an injury to his foot, he made a mistake and went to a regular MD who gave him a shot, he should have gone to a sports medicine specialist, I know that Klitschkos never took steroids, hell they did not even drink alcohol! Vitali has never taken a PED, neither has Vlad. So no, Vitali did not take a PED, he had a shot for an injured foot, that's why he had so many injuries, from Kickboxing. Not many have ever seen Vitali in a kickboxing fight, well, he was awesome!!!!!!!

Wach is Cack, Takam and Perez ??? They are just average. He seems to me like hes caught between beating the very best and B level fighters. Hes nothing to shout about. Even as far back as Rachman fight, he looked overhyped.

you wanted an example of his power. there it is. even if they're b-tier fighters, knocking out takam and wach are an example of that. he doesn't have the 'touch of sleep' knockout power that wilder joshua and wlad have but he puts together nice combinations and wears his opponents down well

as for his resume, only joshua has a better win. that's the sad reality of the division outside of the top 5 right now.

Whatever, never underestimate Povetkin.................if Povetkin was an easy fight, then he would never have been framed...............then later cleared, but WBC still refused to allow him to knock Wilder out, they have to protect Widler, think about it, Wilder has never fought one legit fighter period! Now, WBC has made Breazeale mandatory for Wilder, he is not ranked #1, but mandatory. Breazeale qualified by getting knocked out by Joshua, he can't fight at all, is owned by Haymon, if ordered he would take a dive, but doubt if that will be necessary..............Ortiz? Hope he is not framed................

Just finished watching the Povetkin vs Hammer fight. Povetkin has slipped a little but not all that much. He still slips punches pretty well and when he did get caught by right hands he fired back with his own shots a long time Povetkin staple.
I was impressed that Hammer was in such good shape but his offense is limited. While I consider him a top 10-15 heavyweight he really isn't that much different than a Duhaupas or Rudenko.
Povetkin needs a big fight soon his window is closing but I still think he has enough in tank to beat Wilder and be 50:50 with the other belt holders. I'm a year from now though that may change. And since the men with belts seem to have fights lined up I think Povetkins best bet is a fight with Bryant Jennings.
    Why?
Because Jennings is a man also on the outside looking in, it's a mutually beneficial fight for both men. Jennings has a good promoter Arum who could sell the fight and get it exposure and put the winner firmly in line for a title shot. Just my opinion but I think it's route to go for an interim fight. Hammers, Duhaupas, Rudenko types don't draw interest and he needs interest to pressure these guy into getting into the ring with him. The European circuit isn't doing it, and the belts will just dodge him with politics.

Povetkin had so many similar fights before with opponents about his size and non competitive wide decisions before. He runs out of ideas and cant finish them off , quite annoying to watch-the leaping double hook etc ,predictable.Hes still my favorite fighter at HW but just cant see him getting anywhere near the 6`6 + titlist guys to land anything flush and knock them out sadly .He lacks reach ,speed ,height and will be clinched into 12 rounds loss every time.

Parker fight might be competitive however but dont think it will happen ever.I would say Povetkin 7-5 8-4 decision if it happens tho.

Would like to see Ortiz vs Povetkin ,if both are unable to get title fight and stuff they should fight each other honestly ,Ortiz probably wins UD here.
