Dude, seriously, how dumb are you? You must really be trying hard to look that dumb, your effort is fascinating.

His opponent didn't show up in the olympic finals, so what? He already beat the #2 SHW of the time in Cammarelle decisively(31-19) in the semi-finals. I never see you bashing at Wilder for making it to semi-finals in the olympics by a ****ing draw. Besides, Povetkin won every single big tournament in the amateurs and is the best SHW that amateur scene has seen since K2 turned pro 20 years ago.

Yes, he pulled out of the Wlad fight twice, that's what people mean when they say Teddy Atlas pulled his career back, he wouldn't let him fight Wlad and he was the one who wanted him to take the WBA regular route.

I know you're a deluded fool but, how shameless are you to still claim Povetkin's camp has been pushing the fight for a year when the source of Wilder's manager officially saying they received an official offer from Povetkin's camp but refused it because they thought Wilder needed a couple of more fights before taking on Povetkin?

The USA is all that matters to PBC whose goal is to revitalize boxing in the US.

WIlder-Stiverne's 1.3M viewers in the US is a great start in realizing PBC's goal. It was the best viewer number Showtime had in 2 years.

How often do you see Dan Rafael reporting Germany, Russia, China viewer numbers for HBO or Showtime boxing events?

There is no doubt that the fight was also viewed overseas at a higher rate, even though the numbers weren't tracked in the US or made public.
In comparison, Klitscho-Jenning US ESPN numbers were far below 1M. :smoke

Povetkin has faced wlad, takam, perez, huck but you for some reason think all this a ploy to duck wilder?

i predicted over a year ago that this situation would happen and wilder will drop his title. i want the fight too happen though and it is going to happen now unless wilder drops his belt

Sasha has the best HW resume atm beside Wlad, of course.

He beat Charr, Perez, Takam and Wach. And when I say he beat them he really put a beating on them.

Well, he got destroyed by Wlad after backing out of TWO PREVIOUS FIGHTS with him (following two previous purse bids, no less).

And he got battered around pretty good by the cruiserweight Huck, too.

So, YEAH, he isn't too excited to fight Wilder. (He hasn't exactly demanded rematches with Wlad - who he never wanted to fight - or Huck, so I doubt he's interested in fighting them again, either.)

And I don't know why some think Carlos Takam is a big deal. Who'd he beat? Botha and Grant? That would be awesome if it was the 1990s, but not so much now. (Does anyone think Takam is going to beat Parker? No.)

Go ahead and believe Povetkin is a Superman. Just come back here and apologize when he backs out. Because he will.

And when Povetkin signs to fight someone else, like the Browne-Oquendo winner ... don't use the lame excuse that Wilder is a no-name and fighting for the WBA 'Regular" belt again is the one you REALLY wanted to see.

Because everyone hyping Povetkin NOW is going to fall back on that one to save face.

    Gotta go.

    :good

I don't think povetkin is superman but its obvious he wants this fight, I don't think he will be worried about a guy who got outboxed by a polish football hooligan. Wilder is the one saying he won't go Russia. If anyone pulls out its him
