Apart from the physical effects of that KO possibly playing a role in the rematch there's almost certainly going to be a psychological one. Whyte appears to have taken the loss in stride but at the very least the KO will be a consistent theme in the back of his mind. Povetkins age is always going to be an x factor in every fight he has now - but on balance I pick him to win the rematch by stoppage again.

Going to be hard to top the first. Commentators made to eat crow, butthurt fanboys going into hiding, KO of the year front runner etc.

I don't know that King Khans will ever be topped though. What do you think @IntentionalButt? Totally insane Khan fanboy who has a colossal meltdown after Khan/Garcia.

You're nuts. If Povetkin wins he should not retire. Why would he fight all of those fights to position himself for a big money fight/ title shot and then walk away when he has it? He should go take a loss against Fury/AJ and get his career high payday. Then ride off in to the sunset against a no hoper in Russia.

Whyte wins a decision in a stinker. It won't raise anyone's estimation of him, but it'll land him a title shot as per the plan.

Picked Povetkin by KO the first time and id back him to follow it up the second time. Whyte is done and has been for some time

I changed my mind, Povetkin will win the second fight aswell. I thougth he'd lose the first one, although i gave him some chances.

I estimate the fight to go to distance, since both will be more careful this time. Whyte because he has everything on line, Povetkin because he felt Whyte's power. Yet, Povetkin will profit from his experience and ring IQ in the late rounds. Could be a stoppage or a decision.

Povetkin will surely train for Whyte's jab and he will lose less energy on throwing that right overhead which often missed last time.

    Late victory for Povetkin.

I honestly have zero idea, I just don't know how Whyte reacts to that KO.

He is talking great game, saying he is fine, but we won't know until the first bell goes, and the pressure on him now is immense.

Povetkin on the other hand, took Whytes best, got up, laid Whyte out, his confidence will be through the roof.

Povetkin knows he needs to land clean and it's probably all over.

It's a real 50/50 in my opinion but the bookies have Whyte odds on favourite again.

Lets not write of Whyte here or Povetkin. It'll be an interesting fight.

i picked whyte by decision but never felt great about the decision

he had povetkin down twice and povetkin looked slow and vulnerable

povetkin also looked vulnerable against hunter

i dont know what to expect...when a guy KO's someone early it would lead me to expect that it would happen again but thats not always the case

I assume Whyte would take this as a wake up call and get in better shape and better prepared and povetkin will only be older

im having a difficult time picking this, thinking whyte to get revenge but povetkin bombed him
