Too soon, I doubt he'll be fully recovered from the first KO, he get brutally sparked out cold again.

Nice turnaround time....yes, 21st century boxers can actually fight more than once a year and within 4 months of a previous fight.

Whyte winning the rematch and getting a title shot would only highlight the rotten core of boxing once again.

I hope Povetkin ices him again. Rub it in Eddies face.

This whole rematch garbage is a joke.

Povetkin with the overhand right. It was my prediction last time and I am sticking to it.

Also, Povetkin had his timing figured out the first time. All he needs to do is repeat the same feint, Whyte will be terrified of the incoming uppercut, and hyper conscious of not falling for the same trap, and he'll zig when he's supposed to zag and go to the right this time, and then boom, Sasha takes him out with an overhand right. Or Whyte is just that stupid and will fall for the uppercut again. Povetkin ends this when he wants to.

I agree that the rematch is a joke but it probably works out best for Povetkin probably the best pay day he will get as I doubt he will get a fight with Fury or Wilder and not much chance of getting a rematch with AJ. If he sparks Whyte out again he might get a fight with Usyk or Andy Ruiz.

    I agree with you.

Whyte should be using the time off to re-set his MO, mindset and psychology. Jumping straight in could be a disaster.

This all reminds me of Price Vs Thompson.
