Prove this in any way, shape or form.

He was a little rocked against Chambers, whose best punch is a jab.

Prove to me he has a good chin? You can't, he never fought anyone decent with power. Donald, Bryd, Chambers, and Estrada have a combined KO ratio of under 50%.

He was a little rocked? Please. If that was rocked then when we need to redefine what rocked is for this conversation. Not only that but dude had the ****ing flu for that fight.

So then wait a minute...you can't prove that he has a bad chin and I can't prove that he as a good chin. Know what that means?

I have no idea what kind of chin Povetkin is working with he neve faced a real big puncher or was never down or staggered.

What I will say is he cuts and bruises, Chambers's right hand did some damage to his face and Eddie stopped the pressure that was giving Povetkin a hard time. I feel Wlad will cut and bruise him like Chambers and keep his foot on the pedal and batter Povetkin to a TKO.

His face looked a little messed up after fighting Chambers, and keep in mind Chambers had a very low work-rate throughout the whole fight.

Some people cut and bruise easily. Miguel Cotto had his lip split open against Alfonso Gomez. Does that mean that Gomez "slightly rocked" Cotto?

How his face looked and how good his chin is have little to no correlation.

BAM! That's the thing. We don't know.

So for Punisher to blindly state "He has a weak chin" is not only superfluous, it's factually incorrect. He has no proof.

Notice how I didn't say he has a great chin either. Just that saying he has a weak chin as if it was definite is wrong.

When Povetkin fought Byrd there was hardly any mark or bruise in Povetkin's face, and keep in mind that Byrd hit Povetkin more then Chambers did.

Chambers does have pop in his punches and he did hurt Povetkin. If Chambers had a higher work-rate that night, Povetkin's face would of looked worse.

This doesn't even begin to account for the fact that Povs was fighting Chambers with the flu.

And again, there's no correlation between how his face looks and how good his chin is. If you want to argue that he got marked up, I wouldn't bother debating that because it's obvious. If you want to argue that his chin is poor because Fast Eddie gave a pasty European guy even MORE lumps on his face, I don't think that's accurate.

EDIT: JUST noticed your avatar. That sort of makes this a little more easy to understand

I think Povetkin would of fought Chambers the same way even if he didn't have the flu, hey Povetkin won anyway.

As for Povetkin's chin, he's never really been tested by a puncher, he seems tough though.

I mean more under the discussion of having the flu having something to do with him suffering such an extreme mark up.

The discussion here really wasn't about Eddie Chambers power. Eddie has the power if he ever decided to sit down on his punches and let his hands go (knocking down Dimitrenko is an example). The discussion is on Pov's chin. Realistically nobody knows how good OR bad it is, so to speak in extremes as Punisher did is wrong.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, something came up.

As for Povetkins chin. Your right, I dont have concrete proof. Other than the fact his team has kept him away from top notch heavy hitters throughout his career. His best wins are over feather fisted fighters. Correct me if I'm wrong, but none of the 4 fighters I named have over a 50% KO ratio? Not to mention him ducking Wlad for well over a year, and has yet to face a real puncher like Arreola or Peter. The guy is afraid to face a puncher in my book, and when he does finally grow the balls to face Wlad, we will all see his glass chin exposed.

He didn't show a bad chin as am amateur and won the gold in the superheavyweight division. However, Vlad will knock him out.

Atlas keeps inheriting top contenders in heavyweight division )Michael Moorer, Michael Grant) and he ****ed up Grant, stole Moorer's thunder with corner theatrics, eventually split with him, and now is saying he needs time with Povekin. Anything goes wrong in Guinn fight, it willl be all fighters fault. If things go right, Atlas wil get credit, even though Povetkin wins this fight under his former trainer.
This is second fight with Atlas, if someone else got training spot, Teddy would be complaining about opposition.
It is good he is keeping busy, but Atlas is phony, and all out for himself. A;lso not a good trainer.
