this is another tought fight for povetkin. i wouldnt take it if i was his management

    who you picking?

i really havent see enought on povetkin to say. but just based on the fact that he just beat donald and byrd, im going with him.

but chambers has got lot more pro fights, and has just beaten brock and guinn

    its a tough fight

i haven't seen anything of chambers, but the things i heard about him make me doubt. some say he is a poor man's version of chris byrd but he won against brock (who was fat and unmotivated though). povetkin has a good workrate, he just applies constant pressure. and the fight takes place in germany which means chambers must really dominate povetkin to get the decision. so my pick is povetkin by ud.

Chambers is slick and a good counter puncher.I think this will be a good fight .Povetkins consistant pressure will wear down fast eddie for a 10th rnd ko

Did you watch the Brock fight? Did you watch Chambers' fights on ESPN?

Have you ever seen a Povetkin fight?

If your answer to all of those questions is yes and you still think this is a tough fight for Povetkin, then there's something wrong with you. You don't have to agree with me that Povetkin is that great, just agree with me that Chambers is that bad. He's an average fighter who has a little hype and cannot beat Povetkin. That's a fact.

I really don't see Chambers winning this fight at all. Povetkin's effective pressure and workrate will be far too much as he wears him down and stops him in 8.

Agreed. Chambers is greatly overrated, imo - really more of a fat cruiserweight. Povetkin will either outwork him to a wide UD, or wear him down and stop him as you suggest.:yep

I see Povetkin winning by 7 th roud ko. I saw a fat unmotivated Calvin Brock darn near ko him. The Only reason why he was abel to win was because calvin Brock didn't have the condtioning to continue the assault.

im expecting a povetkin tko or a chambers UD

anything else will be a shock, either way both these guys get destroyed by wlad in less than 8. If Povetkin wins he should forfeit his IBF mandatory status , if chambers wins he should get his payday and go home.

There is hardly anyone out there who would favour Chambers to win his upcomming bout with Povetkin.
Chambers has more pro fights? It doesnt mean **** when matched with Povetkin IMO.
Do you really think that beating up some very limited part time taxi drivers in the paid ranks can be compared with Povetkin's long and outstandingly great amateur career.Povetkin had been one of the most dominating amateurs heavies of all times before he turned pro.He hadnt lost a single fight for years, and he had frequently met the best heavies on his planet in the big international amateur tournaments.
By the way Brock couldnt hold a candle to Povetkin at the amateurs. He didnt even dare to cross Povetkin's shadow then.
I for my part think that Povetkin is ready for whoever is put in front of him with one exception:Wladimir Klitschko.I would like to see Povetkin beat some other good names before he squares off against the present number 1.
Chambers wont be a match for Povetkin!

Chambers is very over rated, by a certain nation desperate for success as they have no heavweights.

Povetkin by complete and utter domination inside 7 clear cut rounds.

Povetkin probably beats Chambers, but it will be the end of the line for him when he faces Wladimir.

I have been impressed by Chambers. IMO, he doesn't get much love around here for a low KO %.
