Povetkin vs Holyfield, both in their primes. Who wins this one?

This would be WAR. A very fan friendly fight.

    I favor Evander Holyfield here.

Is this a serious question? Holyfield knocks the Russian out.

Indeed it would. This would be a very exciting fight. I'm favoring Holyfield too but Povetkin will definitely have his moment. People seriously need to ignore the Povetkin vs Wladimir fight when they judge Povetkin. That wasn't a fight.

Holy on steroids couldn't deal with Larry Donald or Byrd who Povetkin pulverized so would have to go with the Russian here.

Yeah he'd beat the Ali from the Holmes fight to but maybe we should look at prime versions of the fighters

Holyfield would box Povetkins head off.

How? Holyfield couldn't knock out and was outboxed by Chris Byrd -- who was beaten by Povetkin. Povetkin didn't get knocked out by hard hitting Wlad Klitschko. But Holyfield (who was not a knockout artist) would?

    You're reaching.

Holyfield beat Tyson twice who was better than any Povetkin.

No more needs to be said.

The question is PRIME Holyfield, the guy was 40 when fought Bryd and had been in many wars.

Povetkin struggled like hell with Marco Huck ffs, he ain't beating prime Holyfield.

One of the best hypotheticals out there.

It'd be a good even matchup but you'd have to favor Holyfield due to his uncanny punch resistance and recovery skill.

115- 111 as they both take a KD or 2
