Holyfield was WELL past his prime fighting those guys, likewise those guys were well past their prime when they fought Povetkin. Larry Donald and Povetkin went the distance so im not so sure about pulverized either. The fact that someone like Ibeabuchi took out a prime Chris Byrd quicker than Povetkin took out a shot Chris Byrd makes it look even worse.

Povetkin is easily world class but i pick Holyfield by late stoppage or UD in a thoroughly competitive fight.

With not biased judges prime Holyfield never was able to outbox prime Povetkin versions before he was over 35 y.o.
Povetkin was not only Olympic Gold medalist but also World and european champion in boxing and World ammy champ in more brutal sport than ammy boxing: kickboxing.

37 y.o and older ( over the hill ) Povetkin's versions of course prime Holyfield, especially his CW version had outboxed yeah.
After 36 Povetkin despite retained power, becomed less agile, slower, easier to hit him and also lower output level ( punches he was able to throw per round ) than before this age.
Povetkin does beat very hard for approx 225 lber and he does have also good body mechanics.

Povetkin is/was a brilliant fighter but please don't put him remotely near the same bracket as Holyfield

Both were roided up to the eye balls in their primes. Holyfield probably wins a close UD.

Because Povetkin is not from U.S and for U.S fans Holyfield must be better boxer than prime Povetkin was?

Holyfield was lower level U.S hometown prize fighter than Povetkin was and please do not put U.S boxer Holyfield even close to level prime Povetkin had.

Holyfield was good boxer for U.S fans to sell with him TICKETS and never was top 2 level nor in ammies nor in pros.
    Unlike Povetkin.

No. Stop. Holyfield has already beaten a better version of Povetkin (Mike Tyson) and a better inside fighter than Povetkin (Riddick Bowe) I like Povetkin but he has nothing Holyfield hasn't already delt with

Holyfield had won out of prime Tyson.
Prime Tyson was Tyson till end of 1988 th. Not later his versions.

    No. Stop.
Western boxers in western forums always are considered as better boxers, more talented etc.

This is normal for tribal boxing fans.
Your Holyfield according to U.S fans had performed in Games well, he get bronze medal.
Povetkin get Gold at Oly Games, World Championship, Europans Championship and in pros prime Povetkin had lost only vs prime Wlad, not old uncle Wlad versions Fury and A.J superstars had in the ring.

For western boxing fans always only western cash cows will be enough good boxers.

So good superstars to fight only in U.S etc like greatnesses to entertain public kids from forums.
Market = $ and superstars are better.

    Home $ business.

Out of prime Tyson was still a dangerous top opponent. He would have beaten prime Mike Tyson regardless because style make fights. Holyfield is a better infighter than Tyson.

I've never seen Povetkin do anything that makes me think he could in any way hang with The Real Deal. Levels.

1987-1988 Tyson was patient, agile and enough careful. He moved like LHW boxer and hit like HW boxer.
This Tyson version was difficult to hit properly, actually him liked to use opponent's attack moments against them.
This Tyson had beated both: Tyson from 90 ies and prime Povetkin and Holyfield too.
More agile than Tyson from 1987 th was ___Ali from 60 ies. Only.

Hometown juice in U.S better of course.
If he was not able to beat slow Tyson, how he might normally land on prime Povetkin.
Really levels are in the ring.

Post a fight where Povetkin performs in such a way as to make me think he can beat Holyfield from the Bowe fights or get down off your victim pony.

Really post a fight where you think Holy might beat Tyson from 1987 th version.

I get that you will admit only western boxers as good boxers.
This is normal for western boxing fan.

Pacquiao, Lomachenko, GGG, Inoue, Vitali K (off the top of my head. there are others) are all boxers I have personally rooted for/praised. Lots of "not western" fighters get plenty of recognition around here. You use a straw man to make yourself into a victim for everyone to see. You think that will convey upon you some moral authority and status. I cringe on your behalf. You have my pity. We're done.
