Culcay explodes with a couple of hooks chasing Thompson back to the ropes, wobbling him. Thompson is able to recover quickly and time Culcay's follow-up attacks with quick ducks while sticking the jab out. Culcay fakes Thompson with some jab-steps and then launches a BIG left hook past a Thompson lead right, burying it into the side of Thompson's jaw with authority. Long jab by Thompson, scoring but getting his arm caught vined around Culcay's. Bashing hooks up top by Culcay. Up-jabs to the face by Culcay, reaching and just nicking Thompson with them. Double jab to the face by Culcay as Thompson tries ducking away but still gets found. Culcay's aim has been improving steadily all throughout the third. Slapping body flurry by Thompson.

Round 4

Culcay is circling left and putting a jab up just over Thompson's shoulder. Crisp counter rights by Thompson catching Culcay as he swerves and weaves in. Long jab by Thompson. Quick flurry misses but backs Culcay off. Lead right by Culcay falling in, blocked as Thompson steps around him. Jabs by Thompson in the center of the ring as Culcay dashes left and right to find an opening. Chopping right by Culcay, doesn't steal it.

Culcay's last few opponents were flatteringly inept. :yep

 

Round 5

Culcay is throwing jabs and rights coming forward while dropping his upper body off to either side. Thompson tries to back him off with a long whipping uppercut and keeps the momentum going with a flurry but has it seized away as Culcay lands a few hooking shots up top and drives Thompson to the ropes. Culcay is banging away with slap-downs and uppercuts as Thompson intelligently defends with his guard tightened and back arched to lean down into Culcay, and it's STOPPED!
