Povetkin's next fight will be against the WBA mandatory, age 39 Hasim Rahman (rated BoxRec #62 at HW).

Who will win? Does Rahman have a chance of beating Povetkin?

Sasha appears to have declined from working with Teddy Atlas and he showed some vulnerability in his fight with Huck. And as we say in his first fight with Lennox Lewis, Rahman has one-punch KO power, although he's slowing down with age.

I haven't seen the Huck fight yet, but from what I've heard, Povetkin looked his worse in years. Also, from what I've heard, Hasim has lost 50 lbs, and is training super hard with genius trainer Eddie Mustafa Muhammad.

So, my tentative conclusion is that Hasim has a chance at beating the younger man. My thinking hinges on the fact that Hasim has a KO laden right hand, and Povetkin is hittable.

Is he really going to be fighting Rahman? I was hoping for a Povetkin-Morrison showdown, but he should take this one. Hopefully The Duke is next up, though.

Who wins?? everybody that doesn't watch..

In all honestest, I think everybody will have to route for Pov.. We don't need another Wlad whitewash of Rahman. Hopefully it's Pov. in impressive fashion as well.

At the very least, we can thank Povetkin for having to take this absurdly undeserving mandatory from Wlad

Whatever weight Rahman has lost and however bad Pov has been looking it would be a huge upset if the Rock somehow won this. I'll pick Povetkin by late stoppage in another disappointing display

    :rofl

Povetkin looked horrible against Huck but Rahman has seen better days about ten years ago. Alexander stops him late.

All depends on how rubbish Povetkin really is. I don't expect an upset though.
