If we are assuming a motivated Povetkin, then its 10 rounds to 2 for the pasty doughboy. He's leagues better in tghe skill and talent department.
People forget because of the Huck fight, but Povektin is a crafty HW with surprising foot and hand speed.
Povetkin prime for prime. For such a big guy he has a high workrate. He's also willing to go to war to land his shots. It isn't a stretch to say the two are on separate levels.
Povetkin is such a disappointment. He thows such educated combos. He's brave and quick and has some pop. But he's just a slob who has let his career stagnate.
Do you remember the hype about him 5 year ago? I think it's beyond stagnation now and he's just past his prime. Atlas was terrible for him. He didn't need a huge motivation speech he was a 28/29 year old gold medallist who'd just beaten Byrd and Chambers, both by pouring on the volume down the stretch. If he wasn't ready then he was never going to be ready because now he's fatter, slower and older. What a waste.
