The distribution has been uneven, most of Silgado's connects were in the first 3 rounds before a major drop-off.

Chakhkiev is also landing the far more effective shots and has been for most of this. (even when Silgado was busier and technically getting a higher percentage of touches, and even the cleaner ones early on...)

    Round 10

Chakhkiev is slide-stepping in, dragging the rear left foot, menacing Silgado with right jabs. A few lefts shot up Ferris-wheel style into the brow of Silgado as he lays back on the ropes, eliciting cheers from the crowd, but Chakhkiev is just whipping them in and not placing them with the technique required to really fry Silgado's circuits.

    10-9 Chakhkiev

    98-92 Chakhkiev

    Round 11

Silgado reaches across the gap and boulders down a 1-2 from the high guard, and is timed and caught by a powerful inclined left hand lead on the mouth. Silgado is on his bike, ricocheting off the ropes and using slick twists and turns while hot-footing around Chakhkiev landing light left jabs. BIG left hand on the face by Chakhkiev almost cornering Silgado.

    10-9 Chakhkiev

    108-101 Chakhkiev

    :nono

He is ordinarily a solid cruiser and had a decent start against Lebedev before succumbing (which is no shame) and he actually does have legitimate pop - not the usual heavily padded variety usually seen on South American records - to go with his skills, when he is fit and conditioned.

Anyone else notice that Chakhiev lunges when he throws his left?
