Well, I hope Ryabinsky is ok. Bivol won, Troya became a champion, Kudryashov was a prospect yet 30 years old and with 0 skills and he faced a puncher with a will to win. Chahkiev, we knew that his stamina is awful and chin is china, Afolabi - Chahkiev is perceived now as an upsed probably cuz Rakhim got KTFO by non puncher, hehe... Lebedev performance was best, Povetkin won and many potential money fights are possible.

You rarely if ever see a fight stopped because of a cut UNDER the eye.

Good tuneup for Alexander, though. However, despite all his punches, Povetkin wasn't ever close to actually putting Wach down or out.

Because, when Povetkin gets hammered by Wilder, the same people praising Povetkin in this thread are going to be claiming that the Wach fight showed Povetkin was on the decline ... and they won't give Wilder full credit for beating the hell out of him even though they were praising Povetkin right after this fight.

I just hope Povetkin doesn't try to delay the inevitable by pushing the fight back to next June or July because he got cut.

Wilder's already been waiting close to a month and a half for Povetkin to get past this tuneup.

If Deontay had hit Povetkin with the right hands slow Wach was landing in the first three rounds, it would've been a short night.

I hope they fight in February. The sooner the better. Because, in addition to Povetkin, I want to see Wilder fight four times next year ... against the winners of the December card featuring Szpilka vs. Mansour and Martin vs. Breazeale ... and the Klitschko vs. Fury bout.

Just catching up, saw the Bivol KO and Durodola upset. Chakhiev-Afolabi next.

 

I praise Povetkin yet if Wilder beat him it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, not because I think Wilder is great, I actually think Povetkin is the better fighter but stylistically it's a bad match up for him.
