I hope Wilder agrees with you. We've all had enough with garbage WBC title fights.

 

Povetkin vs Wilder is a close match up btw. Anyone who says otherwise are fooling themselves.

 

Yeah those fight must've been harsh for you, uh?

 

It is a bad matchup for him. Povetkin could win by stoppage, but he won't. He eats too many shots and doesn't ever fight well against big heavyweights.

You can do that when you're fighting Firtha and Wach, but not Wilder.

 

It's not close. Imagine Povetkin landing the same punches as he landed on Wach today. Fight won't last a round.

 

Yes, if Deontay Wilder suddenly had zero power, held his gloves over his face, and moved like his legs had cinder blocks on them, Povetkin would land the same punches and probably win.

Wach is a statue. And he has zero power.

Wilder is fast, is a bomber and attacks. Povetkin's going to be shell-shocked, because Povetkin is very easy to hit.

Cuevas-Hearns comparisons keep popping up in my mind.

 

Unfortunately yeah, Wilder's got a really speedy, long jab and good footspeed, I just can't see him dealing well with that, he'd either get picked off with a punch from range or leap in and get countered.

 

He won't, so its a moot point.

 

Wilder footwork is terrible and hes defence and chin is even worst. He is dead man walking.
Povetkin will murder him in the ring.
Lets see if Wilder have guts to step on the ring with Sasha.

Afolabi's KO was great. I'd vote for him.

I thought Lebedev would win quicker. Kayode has had that shaky, stiff movement of a classic "shot" fighter for at least a year now. And I'm not using "shot" offhandedly.

And I follow boxing, and I never heard of Cuenca until about a week ago with all this 49-0 nonsense.
