I just watched the weigh in and regardless of what anyone thinks of Charr he's certainly got a mean stare on him. lol

I see quite a few are picking Povetkin to stop Perez late. It will be a very impressive if he does as Perez has a good chin on him. As far as I'm aware he's never been off his feet. The only time I recall seeing him a bit hurt (and I'm not even sure about that because I can't find a copy of the fight anywhere) was in the Takam fight, other than that he's been rock solid. He took a lot of big hits in the Mago fight and stood up to them. Granted Mago broke his hand early but he still caught him flush with some big shots. If Perez is back to his best this could turn out to be a real hard night's work for Povetkin.

I agree. And especially as Povetkin came in with a career high weight, I do not see him stopping Perez. If Perez fades (which he likely will cause he carries too much weight I believe) again, he might pull out some sort of "fatigue ko" but I doubt it. Hope we get the Perez from the Mago fight tonight ... which would lead to a highly competitive fight.

Yeah, not sure why Povetkin has come in so heavy. Kind of crazy. Perez is quicker than him too so maybe Povetkin might be the one who fades first if he keeps missing with big shots. Povetkin should be down at 225 max really.

Yeah, either that or Kudryashov vs. Meroro will be a walkout bout following the main events.
