    Let's keep in mind, Perez didn't even train in Oxnard for this fight, because Robert Garcia kicked him out for a poor work ethic.

    I guarantee you that had something to do with this godawful performance

    Well, to be fair, as someone that's been alternately high and low on him over the years, he did warrant the doubt at times. Half the fight against Chambers, total absentee performance...and we don't even need to get into the Atlas years. Ick.

    Who knows? But Povetkin just obliterated him and deserves full credit for doing so. That was very impressive no matter which way you look at it.

    He has a great resume, but he's been on and off, I mean anyone remembers the Huck performance? That was awful... It seems that loss against Wladimir really woke him up big time now, he lost weight, got himself in great shape and he really seems to want it. I'm very happy to see this kind of mentality.

    IMO Povetkin was always going to win, simply because him at his best is a better fighter than Perez at his best

    However, for Perez to be completely run over and trampled in under a minute has to be indicative of Perez poor mental state, and lack of training.
