Call me crazy but if Povetkin defeats wilder he is hof material to me. Borderline but he gets in.

His resume supports that, substantially. :nod

I don't know he just got caught with a big one early. These things happen in boxing. Povetkin finished him off beautifully too. Perez has never fought anyone in Povetkin's class who could do that.

Perez's fans were emphasizing all week how this is the best physical shape Perez has been in and the most focused and determined in interviews and training clips.

    So that isn't the case.

Imagine if Povetkin was like this in his entire career? (Didn't let himself go, didn't hire Atlas) A career it would have been that's for sure.

Takam and Jennings are quality fighters, and he arguably beat both of them (kind of)

Povetkin's the better fighter, and has fought the better opposition, and of course, we saw he got the big win tonight.

But you can't overlook the fact that Perez's gym straight up kicked him out and then put out a video calling him a lazy ****. That has got to mess with a fighter before one of their biggest fights.

Anyone who thinks Wilder lasts a second longer than Perez sorely needs a reality check! :nod

He could probably use his superior reach and height to prolong his suffering though.
