Having not seen Alex in with a guy anywhere near the calibre of a prime Bowe I just cant really pick him here...Not based on what Ive seen.
Way too early to tell, but i'll pick Bowe based on the fact that he's much more proven (as a professional). I think it would be a very nice fight to watch, with both men coming forward and averaging over 60 punches a round. Povetkin would be the more technical of the two, while Bowe is the stronger and more imposing man. After Povetkin has retired this discussion may become interesting again, but until then or when he's proven himself worthy at championship level, Bowe is a certain pick. Povetkin is definitely the better amateur, though.
A prime Bowe wipes his ass with the entire pathetic current division. His only tough matchup would be Vitali.
I think that Bowe is far too old to beat Povetkin. If he was to ever get into shape and get a few good wins under his belt, it might be a more interesting contest, though that is never going to happen. Prime for Prime, obviuously Bowe is too good on current performances.
Bowe's too good on the interior, and Alex isn't big or good enough on the outside to win the fight with Bowe at range. Don't know if he'd get the stoppage, but I favor Bowe pretty handily here. If Povetkin packed a bigger punch, it'd be a more interesting fight.
